This is a book about the web of deceit woven by three women, two of them being first cousins and of course a man is involved. The story is an definite page turner with a rather slow start, which reminded me of many other books that I tried to read, but decided to give it more a chance because this is a first novel for the other. I am glad that I did, because it was not long before I didn't want to put it down and after returning to some other things that I had to do, I decided to just read until I was finished. Yes it is a bit of a familiar story that was really gripping and full of drama.
I think many women can relate to this story either from experience or from the experience of someone that they know.
Of course I really liked the way the friendship between the women did prevail, especially the relationship between the first cousins. The friendship between Amanda and Tiffany is still suspect in my eyes, Tiffany is not a friend that I would want, but I think some of this may fallout in the author next novel, at least I hope so.
The novel shows how the women are always viewed as scandalous when the man is not held to the same standards.
I read the Kindle Version of this book.
It is a good read, especially for a first novel. The author has true story telling talent and I look forward to her next novel.
